Who are The Avengers?
The Avengers is a name given to a team in the Marvel Comics Universe. The team consists of extraordinary superheroes with talent and gifts which can save this planet Earth. The main purpose of the team was to protect the planet from extraterrestrial attacks from the outside world and maintain Global Stability.
Even though the Avengers seems to focus on the United States of America, the idea and efforts were towards the peace of this world. They seem to work for SHIELD in the start but later they don’t work for any organization and play by their own rules. The first Avengers Assemble was called when Loki tried to conquer the planet Earth with the Chitauri army and lost to Avengers.
Age of Ultron:
When SHIELD stopped functioning, Tony Stark reconstructed Stark Tower (which was destroyed by Loki) and named it as Avengers Tower. In Age of Ultron, the team defeated the HYDRA. After the war with HYDRA, Tony Stark started working with Artificial Intelligence and gave life to Ultron.
The purpose of Ultron was to protect this world from possible threats in the future. This grew like a virus in Ultron’s brain and it started taking humanity as a threat to this world. Ultron built his own army of Robots all operated via the Internet and Giant artificial web. The Avengers defeated Ultron and shifted their base to a new Location.
Civil War:
Because of damage to property and life during the war in the age of Ultron, the United Nation agreed to control and regulate the actions of the Avengers. This led to a Sokovia Accords and UN asked all the Avengers to sign it.
This will give the control of the Avengers in the hands of the committee and the team will have to follow them. This led to conflicts between the team members and they got divided into two parts which were led by Captain America (against the Sokovia agreement) and Iron Man who was trying to protect them by agreeing with UN.
Helmut Zemo was the main reason between the war between Captain America’s team and Team Iron Man. And afterwards, Captain America, Black Widow, and the Falcon started working in the shades.
Stark asked Spiderman to Join the Avengers but the little kid from New York declined the offer.
Thanos: The Strongest Enemy
Two years later, The Titan born Thanos, who was also the reason behind Loki’s Invasion to planet earth, met Thor, Hulk, and Loki in his quest for the Infinity Stones. He defeated Hulk, killed Loki and Heimdall and took the Space Stone. The hulk who had been sent to Earth by Heimdall before death informed the Avengers about Thanos.
The Avengers teamed up with the Masters of Mystics Arts: Dr. Strange and Wong, The Wakandans to defeat the Thanos. The Iron Man, Dr. Strange, and Spiderman reached Titan, met Star-Lord, Nebula, Mantis, and Drax there and fight with Thanos for the Time Stone.
While rest of the Team Avengers in Wakanda with Rocket and Groot fought the Thanos Army. After defeating the team on Titan because of Star Lord’s Stupidity, Thanos later reached Wakanda with the help of Space Stone and was successful to snatch the Mind Stone from the Vision’s Head killing Vision.
Thanos gathered all the infinity stones by then and completed its Gauntlet. Thor wounded him with the Stormbreaker but Thanos snapped the fingers killing half the livings of the Universe. The major role victims of the Thanos snapping fingers were Falcon, Spiderman, Wanda (Scarlet Witch), Black Panther, Bucky Barnes, Dr. Strange, and Nick Fury.
Thanos became weak because of using all the stones at once in his hand. Then after a while, Thor aimed for his head in a face-off and killed him.
Five years later, the Ant-Man escapes the Quantum Realm coming from the past to the present. This sparked a hope in the rest of the team Avengers that they can bring their loved ones back to life. Using the Quantum Realm as the sole concept, Iron Man redesigned a Time Machine. The mission was to bring all the infinity stones back to this timeline.
Black Widow sacrificed herself for the soul stone. While returning back to the present, New Thanos and his army also entered the original timeline. The Hulk wore the Infinity Gauntlet and brought everyone back to life who died because of Thanos snapping fingers. New Thanos and the Avengers with all the other allies fought once again.
The Iron Man defeated Thanos with the help of Gauntlet. Iron died there because of unbearable pain in the body while using the infinity stones. The Avengers officially splits at the End.
From where it all started:
Nick Fury was the one to start this initiative. In Captain Marvel movie, he met Captain Marvel and fought with her against the Kree-Skrull. This War made him realize that the military forces and the S.H.I.E.L.D. are not powerful enough to face the outside planet earth forces which could destroy our home in the future.
He must assemble a team of extraordinary people with superpowers to protect this planet. Avengers name was taken from the Air Force Pilot Call Sign of Captain Marvel.
