Eligibility
Anyone from science stream (physics , chemistry , biology or mathematics ) can get admission in a BDS course. Few selected eligibility criteria are :
- A person appearing for admission in BDS course should pass in all science subjects with at least 40-50% percentile.
- Age is another major parameter for eligibility to appear for BDS entrance. One should not be less than 17 years while appearing for BDS entrance exam.

Entry in any of the reputed BDS institutions is via a nationwide competitive exam.

Syllabus content
Bachelor of dental surgery has a very broad syllabus. It is designed in a way to make an individual job ready just after completion of the course. The syllabus is taught semester wise.
